Medical Warning...

Take my advise... be in charge of your own health care!!! Don't leave it up to the Doctors and believe they have your health as a priority. They don't! They have too many other patients to worry about and a family of their own.

Yesterday I had some very scary news that my thyroid level is low and my TSH is high. Not Good. Not good for any pregnant person, but especially a recovering cancer patient. I had a major breakdown last night. I am feeling a little better this morning. Eyes still swollen, but I will go on. I just hope and pray that Lauren is okay in there and no permanent damage is done to me or her. Faith is all you can have at this point, b/c neither of my very capable care providers can answer my pleas for assurance adequately.

Any extra prayers you can send our way will be greatly appreciated.

We're praying for you too. Doctors scare people a lot of the time, especially pregnant mothers!

Juli, I ran into Dan at Smith's yesterday. It'd been a little while since I checked in on your blog, and thought I should see what you were up to. I am sorry about the levels and lack of reassurance. I am glad to see that Lauren is getting closer to her due date, though I realize how there are still so many days left to go. Treasure each of them, of course, and stay positive. You've always come across to me that way, and I admire that. I am glad you do have terrific caregivers, and I do hope the best all around. I'll keep an eye on your blog. I wish I could think of something to say or do more. Keeping you in thoughts, and I'll say a special prayer for you and your family.

Love, Marie
