This has been a great week. Mother's Day was the best ever, my birthday pretty much rocked, and Kris made it to the finals! (no suprise to me, but I am still excited!) Today was also great at Ethan's 4th grade gradparents program. THe kids were so awesome. They knew every Beatles song word for word, ya-ya-ya! Ethan played recorder and did awesome and they all played harmonica like prodigies! THe best part though was Ethan, Rex and girls singing "Be True To your School" by the beach boys.

That was awesome! They both did such a great job! That is Dad's true calling-I think Ethan should keep performing-he is a natural with that great smile! I am so glad to hear you had an awesome Mother's Day, birthday, and to top it off now your boy Kris Allen is an AMERICAN IDOL! (John and I are thinking you are now a part of the "Cougars for Kris" club.) How fun to see Rex & Ethan singing together. Rex does look like he could pass for a Beach Boy, doesn't he?
BTW - John's new partner at work's last name is Craven, but I am sure there is no relation to your sister-in-law. Call me!
So awesome about Kris, I cheated and went to my yahoo home page so I found out about 8:30, I screamed I was so excited! My throat hurt after!
