First time getting a haircut with out crying!!! Yeah for Benji! That was last friday at Cookie Cutters. He usually screams in pain every time anyone touches his hair. What a relief we are past that stage!
First time Saying goodbye after a loooong summer break! The kids were sooo anxious to get back to school this morning.
First Day of Third grade. What Emma might be thinking, "Cute boy next to me? School might not be so bad after all!" OR "Quit taking pictures of me Mom! You are a big nerd!!"
First day of Fifth Grade!!! What!!?? Ethan has tons of friends in his class this year! And for the first time since first grade he is back with SETH! Yes, Ethan is a little on the short side, but Sam (on his right) is just a little on the tall side!
And Finallly....the first day I let baberzz cry it out at nap time! Not going so well....not to mention I look kind of scary myself!

Oh, Juli. I don't know that I have much advice, but have you tried rice cereal or something yet? Maybe if you stuffed her full she will sleep longer. Just a thought. Hang in there!

Juli I love you! You crack me up all the time. Not to disagree with Jennie, but rice cereal does not make kids sleep longer. She just is in the bad habit of taking cat naps. But together we can go outside and just be happy. Baby stage ARGH! Just think in two years we will be outside while Lala and Gray take their naps and we can sip on some lemonade!

Oh hun. I am so sorry! That is such a hard stage. Another thing I've heard is to put them to bed while they are still a little awake, so they are used to being in their bed while awake.
I was a "let-em-scream-it-out-er". I know it is so hard and you feel like such a bad mom, but she will tire out and it will get shorter each time. Step outside for a second and take a deep breath. Good luck.
leave on vacation maybe. apparently it makes your baby only wake up once a night...we'll see what happens when we return. can't believe Ethan is in 5th grade!!!
We go to the same Cookie Cutters and have Rebecca cut my little boy's hair! Small World!
