Bathroom Update...

Need advise from all of you awesome designers. We are in need of a little bathroom beautifying.... Don't you agree???

Here is my plan... Have the tub and surround tile refinished, white again, by company "Miracle Method" then sand and paint cabinet, white again, and put on new vanity counter and sink. Then take the mirror off north wall and paint the room tawny brown. Finished off with new towels and curtain. What do you think?

The budget is tight! I am going to keep it under $1000. So keep that in mind.... Please don't just say..."sounds good" give me constructive criticism. Your friendship will be judged on your answers and there WILL be a prize for the person whose idea is used.

Good Luck...

I like tile (and carpet) to be as close in color to dirt as I can get. Less pressure to clean. Go for tan tile/grout.

Nice thought Aubri but we already did the floor a couple of years ago. I tried to go as dirt friendly as possible, but the junk still show! I need a good steamer next!

Tawny brown is pretty, but you have make sure it's a color that will reflect well in the mirror with your face when your doing your hair and make-up

Yes, that is my Justin! He says that he goes into your office all the time!

I love your vision for the bathroom...I am actually jealous you are remodeling.

I agree with the momwhoknits about the brown...I was reading this yesterday and was lame and didn't comment but I think a lighter color would be better because of the smaller space...light blue, a fun yellow or green...I don't know. Is it a kids bathroom or a family bathroom? I love vanities and I think the square one you have chosen is adorable. It will be better for all of the items that kids use if it is a kids bathroom...toothbrushes, elastics, etc.

That's all folks!
